Allen Fletcher built Worcester Public Market with a dream inspired by travel, realizing that city centers thrive with walkability and healthy public markets that bring people together. Allen and his team wanted to tell that story, the Worcester way, that reflects and honors the history the notoriety of Kelley Square. The logotype is classic, timeless and the accompanying graphics Allen wanted are colorful and bold, reminiscent of the diverse city Worcester is, celebrating all of our culinary specialties in one place. Our client had very specific ideas about the brand graphics, website and signage, so we developed designs based on his vision. Our next creative challenge after this project was developing Kelley Square Lofts and The Market Pantry.
Today, Worcester Public Market is a thriving center for The Canal District in Worcester, Massachusetts. Next to new apartment buildings Polar Park and the Woo Sox, adjacent to The Crompton Building with another client, Bedlam Book Cafe and The Haberdasher, Seed to Stem, Crompton Collective, Birchtree Bread and The White Room—you could call it the place to be in the heart of the city.
